October Taqueria Visits
10/30: Chino’s Taq.? Disgraceful as ever.
10/28: A quick-draw return to Aguila de Oro Taq. yields meat-centric results much more earthbound than on our visit two weeks prior.
10/24: Upward intangibility doesn’t spell eight-mustache mobility at Ocean Taq.
10/22: Kind of a ho-hum outing from El Burrito Express on Taraval this time around.
10/17: La Taqueria ratchets up its highest-ever — by far — Overall Mustache Rating™: a still-shrugworthy 7.58.
10/14: Is Aguila de Oro Taq. back on the big-mustache block after a long absence? Sure seems that way.
10/11: Tacobar may no longer be among our Mustache Chart’s top five taquerias, but its burritowork still commands respect.
10/7: Our first visit to La Espiga de Oro was such a rip-roarer, we returned only two days later. Best 8.00-mustache burrito on Burritoeater record.
10/5: La Espiga de Oro. 8.83 mustaches. On a debut visit. Learn about it.
10/1: The New Spot is no longer all that new. And its formerly admirable Overall Mustache Rating™ is no longer all that admirable.

2010 Hiatus #3!
When? When will they quit putting us on planes and in rental cars, sending us far away from our burrito-rich homeland?
October is when. Or perhaps late September. Look for us to return to the San Francisco taqueria fold around then.
Helen's Corral Drive-Inn in Gardiner, here we come.
Kindly hold the fort.
Alright.

September Taqueria Visits
9/28: Just as it’s lifted our spirits on a couple recent visits, the Tenderloin’s Taq. La Paz, as if on cue, lets us down.
9/3: Finally! Epic burritowork from a Mission stalwart! Taq. El Farolito comes through, real big-like.

August Taqueria Visits
8/30: Taq. El Castillito is the latest high-profile Mission taqueria to underperform. What the hell’s going on around there lately?
8/26: Seems we’re in the midst of a down phase again at Taq. Can-cún. 7.58 mustaches? Oh come on.
8/24: While not as heavily mustachioed as certain prior efforts, La Salsa continues to beat the dog (so to speak) out of other burrito retailers in San Francisco’s skyscraper forest.
8/19: Despite a seemingly strong 8.08-mustache debut, El Rancho Grande’s burritowork stacks up as less than the sum of its parts.
8/16: Civic Center’s Los Compadres solidifies its position as one of San Francisco’s finest purveyors of vehicularly produced burritos.
8/11: One hell of a veggie contingent helps catapult La Playa Taq. into our Mustache Chart’s top 25.
8/8: We thought we had a good thing going with Mariachi’s these last few years. Then it weirds out and gets all 6.83-mustache on us.
8/3: It’s glammy purses, hella texting, and really quite extraordinary burritos at Andalé.

We Don't Know If Your Health Will Be Violated
Cleanscores.com, the site to which each of our taqueria pages link for health code ratings, is currently down. So, by the transitive property, the lion's share of our "Will My Health Be Violated?" links aren't working right now. It's a real drag, we know.

July Taqueria Visits
7/30: Taq. La Michoacana, after over a year in business, looks like one of San Francisco’s strongest dark-horse burritoterias.
7/27: The best thing about our latest desultory visit to Taq. Gaby & Liz? Probably the napkins.
7/22: Temperature dips and a highly divisive ingredient mix spoil Mexico au Parc's latest shot at eight-mustache glory.
7/17: If La Placita had any more skeletons in its kitchen closet, the place would look like an orthopedic lab.
7/13: Taq. Dos Amigos nudges its way up and over our eight-mustache summit.
7/9: Posting a devastatingly delicious 8.58-mustache debut, Tacobar clearly means business.
7/6: Meet the new boss: El Grullo Jalisco. Very possibly the same as the old boss: Tacos El Tonayense.
7/3: It’s more mediocrity from one of San Francisco’s most popular burrito counters, Taq. Pancho Villa.
